Jaguar is always unveiling new driving features that can help keep you safe on the road – like the Jaguar InControl.
Jaguar InControl is a suite of services and applications that connects you to your Jaguar and links you seamlessly and securely with the outside world. It includes standard and optional driving assistance features to help you make the most of your Jaguar vehicle.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the features you can expect in your 2023 Jaguar vehicle and how they may impact the way you drive.
Adaptive Cruise Control
This allows you to set your cruising speed and following distance so your vehicle adapts to changes in traffic automatically.
Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control is an advanced driving system built to make daily driving safer and more straightforward.
Unlike the bare-bones cruise control systems found in most other new cars sold today, Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control digitally scans the road ahead for other vehicles and adjusts the speed as necessary to maintain a safe following distance at both city and freeway speeds.

Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control, on the other hand, takes the stress out of cruise control by automatically adjusting acceleration and braking for you.
By using a high-tech radar system built into the front grille, the Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control system can instantly measure the distance between the vehicles ahead and automatically adjust throttle and braking to maintain a safe speed and following distance.
So, for instance, with settings from 20 MPH to 124 MPH, you can use ACC just about anywhere.
Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control includes the exclusive Queue Assist technology.
Working in tandem with the cruise control system, Queue Assist will track and follow the vehicle ahead, even to a standstill.
Once traffic or the vehicle ahead begins to move, the system requires just a brief press of the accelerator to resume cruise control.
This system is constantly active when Adaptive Cruise Control is engaged, so there is no need to intervene when traffic slows down. Thanks to Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control and Queue Assist, the stress and hassle of bumper-to-bumper traffic can be severely reduced.
And Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control is just one of the many new high-tech features offered by the British car manufacturer.
Jaguar Adaptive Cruise Control is available for all 2023 Jaguar sedans and SUVs, including the electric I-PACE.

Other features you can expect to be available to you with Jaguar InControl:
- Emergency Braking. Emergency Braking can help mitigate collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists. It displays a warning in the event of an imminent collision and automatically applies the brakes if no action is taken by the driver.
- Lane Keep Assist. It detects when your vehicle is unintentionally drifting out of your lane, and applies a corrective torque to the steering wheel, encouraging you to guide your vehicle back.
- Blind Spot Assist. It helps you change lanes by illuminating a small warning light in the side mirror when a vehicle is detected in your blind spot. Additional steering correction encourages you to guide your vehicle away if a potential collision is detected.
- Traffic Sign Recognition with Adaptive Speed Limiter. Traffic Sign Recognition clearly displays speed limits and ‘no passing’ signs on the instrument cluster or optional Head-up Display. Adaptive Speed Limiter uses Traffic Sign Recognition to adjust your vehicle’s speed accordingly.
- Driver Condition Monitor. It detects if you’re starting to feel drowsy, provides an alert message, and encourages you to take a break.

- Lane Keep Rear Collision Monitor. The Rear Collision Monitor detects if a vehicle approaching from behind is not slowing down and presents a potential collision threat. The system will then attempt to alert the driver behind you to brake by automatically flashing the hazard lights.
- Parking Features. The Jaguar InControl parking features help you maneuver your Jaguar vehicle into the tightest parking spaces. Check with your local authorized Retailer to discover the options that are best for you.
- 3D Surround Camera. The 3D Surround Camera helps you see more. New 3D exterior perspectives alongside a 360° overhead view of your vehicle help you maneuver with confidence.
- Front and Rear Parking Aid. The Front and Rear Parking Aid provides you with visual and audio feedback of the distance to obstacles front and rear during low speed maneuvering and positioning.
- Rear Traffic Monitor. This warns you of vehicles, pedestrians, or other hazards approaching from either rear side. Particularly useful when reversing out of a parking space.
- Clear Exit Monitor. This helps passengers as they exit the vehicle by providing an illuminated warning in the door if an approaching hazard is detected, such as oncoming vehicles and cyclists.
